The Puriri Tree Matakana
Situated 4.2 km from Matakana Village on the corner of Omaha Valley Rd and Leigh Rd. The property is 15 acre of flat to rolling countryside bounded on the Eastern side by the bush clad Mt Tamahunga stream.
Puriri Tree Country Estate features a unique retail store selling New Zealand made souvenirs, Homeware and Packaged gifts. The theme is based around the stunning native trees that abound along the riverbank including some Puriri tree reputably over 1000years old.
Visitors to the shop are invited to walk the edge of the river to view the tree and the native birds that abound in the bush.
The Centre has an Adventure Park running bush walks for children, here they learn how to survive if lost in the bush and have a lot of fun with initiative games and team exercises.
Childrenšs Theme Parties are also catered for. The centre specialises in Team Building Exercises and Hosting Corporate groups. A Paint Ball Course is available and operational.
